London Cultural walks
We are all interested and sometimes fascinated by the lives of well-known creative people – architects, painters, illustrators, social reformers, novelists, poets, playwrights, musicians and actors. But would you like to see where they lived and worked? To walk in their footsteps and along the same streets?
Do these people inspire us in some way? They can often add colour to our lives, or prompt us to further develop an interest or passion that we have
If you take one of our private walks of a London neighbourhood we will introduce you to the lives of many cultural figures and where they had their homes. We will explore fascinating London ‘villages’, each with their own characteristics, distinctive buildings and their architecture, and how London has evolved over the centuries to the present day

-
All our walks are private walks – they are exclusively for you and for no one else, on a day and time to suit you.
-
Go to our Private Walks page and choose the walk that most appeals to you, then click on Book Now at the bottom of the walk description. This will take you to the Contact & Book page, where you can email us with your contact details and requirements. Alternatively you can send us the booking form for the walk you would like, giving the date(s) and times you would like
We will then respond to you that day and agree a date and time, after which you go to the Payment page to confirm your booking, using our speedy online payment system. Or we can take credit or debit card payments over the phone.
When we receive your booking we will email you details of where and when to meet. -
For two people a Private Walk costs £120, and for three to five people the cost is £150.
-
Bespoke walks are where you give us an idea of the kind of walk you would like – perhaps taking in a set of locations or people you would like to find out more about, and we will design a walk for you. We can arrange to start the walk from where you are staying in London.
-
From our Contact & Book page, send us an email telling us the kind of walk you would like, and the date(s) and times you can do.
-
We agree a cost with you depending on the size of your group and the nature and duration of your walk.

Walks take place in all weathers, so please look at the weather forecast and dress accordingly.

You are responsible for your own personal safety on a Walk. London is a very busy city, so you should pay attention particularly when crossing roads, be aware of cycle lanes (increasing in number these days), and bear in mind that bicycles and skateboards often approach silently.
